SO MUCH INFO ON KAELI UNDER THE CUT (tho technically my latest dnd char would be Delph she hasn't been revealed yet)
Okay so Kaeli Draylinn takes inspo from a lot of different sources, the main one being Carmen Sandiego! She's a blue tiefling, half greed demon half half-elf and she's a rouge/bard multiclass
Now since i have a partially complete ref of her i will copy paste some bits of it here and I apologize in advance, you will need a fair chunk of free time to read through this

Full Name: Kaeli Draylinn.
Aliases/Nicknames: Performer - The Amazing Devil (band ref). Spy Alias - Charmer (Fallout 4 reference)
Alignment: Chaotic Good.
Biological daughter of the adventuring duo Quelan Draylinn and Nylak Daskara.
Nylak Daskara
A demon of greed who acts more like a fun uncle than a dad. Taught her how to gamble, pick locks and pockets, and gifted her the dice set she plays with. Fully plays up the act of being the bad influence but the truth is that he taught her more about morals then any cleric or monk ever did. He was a demon, yes. But he was a demon that learned to love outside of what his inherent greed yearned for.
Quelan (key-lan) Draylinn
A half-elf adventurer who fell in love with her demon traveling companion and accidentally had a kid with him. She adores her biological daughter and has done her best to be a good friend to make up for not being able to be a proper mother.
I have to design her entire adoptive fam (mom, dad, older brother, younger siblings that are twins... plus some of her friends and her mentor. someone save me pls)

I have so much to sort through for the personality stuff it hurts. So many traits fit her, yet i have to narrow down the ones that mean the same and write the why/how that trait manifests in her 🫠
Heres a few little tidbits tho:
When scared she instinctively covers herself in fire (similar to the monstrous nightmare from HTTYD)
Uses endearments casually a lot (darling being the most common one!)
Background
Born to a duo of adventures by accident, she was raised by a family friend to be given a better life then one constantly spent on the road. She was raised in a fairly decent community, making many good friends. Although as with every collection of people, there were always a few bad apples who never came to like her.
˹Childhood˼
Age six. She was a mischievous, ambitious kid with a talent for moving quick and wiggling her way out of trouble with a sweet smile. One day she ended up targeting the wrong adult. The middle-aged lady was the grumpy sort, never smiled or talked to anyone. All Kaeli did was put a bucket on the edge of an overhang to spll a bit onto the lady. Utterly harmless.
Not ten minutes later she was dragged in front of her adoptive parents home, crying and bleeding from a long cut above her elbow. The lady had hanged her down and a sharp edge of the shingles had sliced her skin. The near-black blue blood was dripping down her limp arm when the eldest brother of the household opened the door. The lady had hardly managed to ask "Where are your parents?" when the boy lunged to rip Kaeli from her grip while screaming for her to get away from his little sister.
Funnily enough the lady moved away not a month later. And most of the town acted like she had never lived there at all.
Around age seven she accidentally chipped her left horn when she was learning how to climb on her own. After that Quelan started taking her on small trips outside of the town at least twice a year to teach her practical survival skills.
Age ten. A group of children cornered her with a promise of playing together, curious about her horns and tail. Tieflings weren't a common sight and any who did were often only passing through and didn't have time to indulge children's whims. Kaeli, excited to make new friends, didn't hesitate to follow after them until they started to go through a 'shortcut' that ended in a dead end. The alleyway was narrow, the building's awnings blocking out the sky. There was only one way out, and that was blocked off by the bodies of several kids who didn't even realize how malicious they were being.
She tried to just bear with it until they got bored, but every touch just made her more and more uncomfortable. Especially when the eldest girl grabbed one of her horns and yanked so hard Kaeli instinctively growled in warning. That worked in getting them to back off and Kaeli made a run for it, shoving past to run as far as she could. No one could find her until the next morning when a bakery owner found the small blue tiefling asleep curled up on a crate of ingredients in the storeroom.
After a day or two all the children came to apologize, having been significantly scolded by all their parents and explained to why you can't just touch someone without permission. A few of them ended up being good friends to her as they grew up. It took a while for her siblings to forgive them though, especially the twins. Those two still occasionally play pranks on them.
˹Teen Years˼
Around the age of thirteen her performing skills truly began to bloom as she started hanging around street performers more, observing their movements. A few took her under their wings, teaching her different dances. She was even allowed to perform with them on a few occasions. Something Kaeli would often notice is that the older dancers would often put themselves between herself and other young dancers whenever leering watchers would try to get in close.
She told Nylak about this during one of his secret visits where he definitely wasn't teaching her how to gamble or pick locks. For the rest of that day instead of learning more about either of those skills, he taught her how to pick pockets. And he told Quelan to start upping the intensity of Kaeli's self-defense lessons. Just in case.
For some reason the dancers started finding a lot more money in their tip jars whenever Kaeli hung around.
When she was fifteen a circus came to town. To say she feel in love with the acrobatics immediately was no understatement. She already enjoyed climbing and parkoring across rooftops, and here was a perfect excuse to learn and hone her skills under professionals. Kaeli had become quite the confident lass at this age and excitedly asked to be trained while the group was in town. After a small display of her dancing skills one of the performers took an interest. That performer ended up being her teacher in the art of sword dancing.
Kaeli grew to consider the circus like another family and they in turn treated her as one of their own. When it came time for them to leave, she ended up making the decision to travel with them to continue growing her skills.
Four years of traveling with them was a grand adventure and along the way she also ended up developing a few bardic skills. It became an affectionate joke that she was more versatile a performer then most contortionists.
˹Adult Life˼
Age twenty up till now she started a solo act. After saying goodbye to her circus family she returned to her hometown for a few months to spend time with everyone. A few times every year she travels to different towns to perform and perhaps pick up skills. And lighten a few pockets of course. Among those who've had her perform in their town they say that she's a blessing, for those who are down on their luck always find a little something tucked away to help them buy a good meal that day.
Was low-key thinking abt taking some time away from my bf cuz he drives me crazy emotionally, but he came and apologized with roses and Ferrero rochere and im a sucker. Then he casually mentioned in conversation that he paid crypto to some like british hackers 3 weeks ago to run a full background and internet history check on my ex like, just cause. And im sorry but thats kind of doing it for meeee
