Maybe I'm just sensitive (I am, very), but for some reason, web 1.0 and early 2.0 stuff always makes me sad for some reason. Half trawled wayback machine pages, dead links, dead emails. The longer it exists, the more the internet becomes an obituary to everything a person used to love.
