I wanna know what happens if you show Radec how corrupt the Helghast higher ups are. Would he care? Would he have a conflict of interest? In PSAS, he doesn't mention Visari at all and only expresses his personal desire to protect Helghan. His priority is to the Helghast people, therefore i'd assume the reason he's following Visari so closely is because 1.) Visari technically got em out of deep shit and 2.) Visari was basically holding it together, cuz yknow, otherwise Stahl & Orlock & the incompetent elites are in charge and you know how that went 😭
But like, what if he was shown how undervalued the army & Helghast people actually are, the fact that one of those elites is a literal, and all the other corruption? I'm sure he can see a lot of it but probably copes with bs like "ohh they do so much for us!! ofc they deserve the luxury and i sleep on a dog bed ^_^"
i personally hc that the Red Dust nuke shook him mentally given how he stayed behind to watch, cuz likeee think about it - you basicaly raised all those soldiers and you see so many of them gone just like that? And it didn't even work as well as you thought it would?? Like it's one thing to see them die in war and cope about how they went out like a true soldier or w/e, it's another to see them die on a large scale i'd think? nahh i'm delululu.
Feel free to disagree with me, honestly I just wish we got more character info because oh my god the worldbuilding in this game is insanely good.
