im-something said: I don’t know how people can even finish the book to leave a review. I got about halfway through before I just had to stop or light it on fire. It was nauseating.
I've had to take numerous breaks from it because I too find it nauseating, but there's still this morbid curiosity to see where it all winds up, so I'm sure I'll finish it one day. I'm presently about 3/4 of the way through it.
But, seriously, the amount of people lauding it as a love story or blaming the little girl for 'seducing' Humbert Humbert is just revolting and frightening.

you were so adorable!!! You had glasses and what is on your arms? omg. I just want to hug you! <3
omg nooo @_@ and they're like arm warmer things??? and my pinky is broken thus its weird whiteness. they were jessica stammers' clothes and i was wearing them for fun becAUSE I THOUGHT IT LOOKED COOL. WHY. WHYYYYYYYYY.
You are not alone. Tyler Lockwood and his character development were one of my favorite things about TVD before everything went to hell. I lose followers every time I reblog anything about him even though I reblog all sorts of Klaroline.
Praise!! Hands in da air!!
I'm sure I do too, but that's cool. I like what I like :)
livingdeadblondequeen said: Don’t buy it! Get it from the library or something.
I would, but it looks like she's only releasing it as an e-book. You can actually borrow some books from your local library via your e-reader, though, so I might have to look into that.
im-something said: If I didn’t know the author was Carina, then the summary might actually sound kind of interesting…But it is Carina, so don’t read it. Don’t put yourself that kind of pain.
I actually thought the same thing when I read the synopsis, but we've all seen enough of her writing to know not to fall for this trap. Unfortunately, morbid curiosity is a cruel, cruel bitch.
elizabeth if there is an afterlife i hope a cetiosaurus curbstomps you in it
im-something replied to your post:i have to pick a show or film that uses dialects...
I think, My Fair Lady would fit into that.
Thank you so much, I will try that!
