You ever get into sujood & want to make dua'a so badly, but can't bring yourself to think up the words?
Yeah, that’s okay. Because God knows what’s in your heart before you do.
Stay in sujood for as long as you need. Let your heart speak to God.

Salaam! :]
M: If I forgive betrayal — I want to say no, but I want to say yes. I forgive a person for my own benefit and for my own peace of mind, rather than forgiving the person for the messed up thing they may have done to me.
N, O, U :)
Hey, hey! Okay, so...
N: Favorite animal — sea turtles, dolphins, horses, monkeys, wolves and anything furry.
O: Where would I like to travel — Agh, so many places! I really want to do a road trip across the U.S. I would do anything to go back to Ireland. I want to backpack throughout Europe. Mecca/Madina for Hajj or Umrah. Morocco, Spain, Great Barrier Reef, and I literally can’t think of anything else. Just the world, bro!
U: Favourite time of year, and why— Ramadan, for sure. My imaan is lifted and you could feel the Mercy of Allah subhana wa ta’ala throughout every single day. I adore autumn! This may sound depressing, but the dying leaves look beautiful, oddly enough. I’m sure others could agree.
Asalamu alaikum sis! 6. What is your favorite Hadith?
Walaikum asalaam, lovely! :]
Unfortunately, I have never really looked into much hadiths. The ones that I reblog are the ones that I truly like/love.
One that sticks out to me, however, is one by Abu Hurairah {radiAllahu anhu}.
Abu Hurairah (r.a.) reported: The messenger of Allah (S) said, "Allah makes the way to Jannah easy for him who treads the path in search of knowledge." [Muslim]
Oh! And two more:
‘A’isha {radiAllahu anha} narrated: “Once, when I saw the Prophet in a good mood, I said to him: “O Messenger of Allah! Supplicate to Allah for me!” So, he said: “O Allah! Forgive ‘A’isha her past and future sins, what she has hidden, as well as what she has made apparent.” I began smiling, to the point that my head fell into the lap of the Messenger of Allah {salallahu alayhi wa salam} out of joy. The Messenger of Allah said to me: “Does my supplication make you happy?” I replied: “And how can your supplication not make me happy?” He then said: “By Allah, it is the supplication that I make for my Ummah in every prayer.” (Narrated in Al Bazzaar, classified as Hasan according to Shaykh Albaani rahimahullah).

On the authority of Abu Harayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace), who said: Allah (glorified and exalted be He) has supernumerary angels who rove about seeking out gatherings in which Allah's name is being invoked: they sit with them and fold their wings round each other, filling that which is between them and between the lowest heaven. When the people in the gathering depart, the angels ascend and rise up to heaven. He, Allah bless him and give him peace said: Then Allah (mighty and sublime be He) asks them - though He is most knowing about them: From where have you come? And they say: We have come from some servants of Yours on Earth: they were glorifying You (SubhanAllah), exalting you (Allahu akbar), witnessing that there is no god but You (La ilaha illa llah), praising You (Al-Hamdu lillah), and asking [favors] of You. He says: And what do they ask of Me? They say: They ask of You Your Paradise. He says: And have they seen My Paradise? They say: No, O Lord. He says: And how would it be were they to have seen My Paradise! They say: And they ask protection of You. He says: From what do they ask protection of Me? They say: From Your Hell-fire, O Lord. He says: And have they seen My Hell-fire? They say: NO. He says: And how would it be were they to have seen My Hell-fire! They say: And they ask for Your forgiveness. He (the Prophet, Allah bless him and give him peace) said: Then He says: I have forgiven them and I have bestowed upon them what they have asked for,and I have granted them sanctuary from that from which they asked protection. He (the Prophet, Allah bless him and gran him peace) said: They say: O Lord, among then is So-and-so, a much sinning servant, who was merely passing by and sat down with them. He (the Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: And He says: And to him [too] I have given forgiveness: he who sits with such people shall not suffer. It was related by Muslim (also by al-Bukhari, at-Tirmidhi, and an-Nasa'i).
The last one is the first hadith I ever knew about.

2. Who is your favorite Islamic speaker?
Omar Suleiman, Nouman Ali Khan, and Yasmin Mogahed take the top three spots ever.
5. Have you ever witnessed a person take shahada?
Yes, and I cried like a damn baby. Don’t do it unless you’re prepared. I’m talking tissues upon tissues. And make sure not to be wearing any eye make-up.
8. Think of a time when your dua was answered. What happened?
It wasn’t my dua’a, but it was a friend’s. And their dua’a is the one that helped me really to say “Islam is the religion.” It was Ramadan. She was fasting. She wanted chocolate cake after iftaar. She made dua’a in front of me. I kinda giggled, because every time I asked God for something - I never received it (or so I thought). The next thing I know, her aunt is walking through the door with a homemade all-chocolate fudge cake. And I nearly fainted. Her family had no idea why I was going as crazy as I was.
10 and 21 :)

Salaam!
2. Who is your favorite Islamic speaker?
Omar Suleiman, Nouman Ali Khan, and Yasmin Mogahed take the top three spots ever.
3. Have you ever finished reading the whole Quran? How old were you when you first did?
Sadly, no. I have plans on continuing my journey through the Qur’an during this Ramadan, insha’Allah. I don’t want to speed-read it for the sake of Ramadan. I want to actually read it, understand it, reflect on it, and be able to recall my favorite surahs in the long run.
5. Have you ever witnessed a person take shahada?
Yes, and I cried like a damn baby. Don’t do it unless you’re prepared. I’m talking tissues upon tissues. And make sure not to be wearing any eye make-up.
9. How often do you go to the masjid?
Not often enough, astaghfirullah. But I want to do my own little masjid tour around my city, insha’Allah.
15. What Muslim country would you want to live in?
I’ve thought about this so many times, and I think I’d go to Palestine or Turkey.
29. Was there ever a significant incident in your life that really brought you closer to the deen?
I’m going to be as honest as honest gets: when I first thought that I was pregnant, I knew that I had to become a better Muslimah because I refuse for my child to grow up with no religion or telling others, “We’re not really practicing Muslims.” I knew I had to shape up and become a better rolemodel for my child.
