CORE PROPOSITION
surrealcore
i want to see more of this in general and it's something that i think would be really fun to build upon:
- true representation of personal dreams
-that bitter nostalgic type stuff, things that might appear in flashbacks, visions, hallucinations, fantasies, etc.
-of course just classic surrealism
-things that may only make sense to you, they deeply resonate with you but may be nonsensical to others
- heavy symbolism
-describing ur feelings/experiences in completely unconventional ways that very precisely, specifically encapsulate everything youre tying to express
-songs that have that otherworldly, deeply impactful quality. they stay with you for years even if you never listen
- recurring themes or images from your life as a narrative, dreams, fantasies
-art that highlights emotions that cant be expressed literally
-things like tornadoes, crashes, fires, and overcrowded areas with some kind of visually pleasing effect (examples included think unnatural lighting, haze, glow, strange levels of saturation, etc)
-paranormal encounters (orbs, spirits, cryptids)
-aliens & uncommon animals (for this i like sealife and slugs and bugs)
-distortion!!
-any genre you like. i personally like horror/uncanny themes but this could work with fantasy, scifi, etc. with EASE
