Did Tumblr change how they handle displaying "High-res" versions of images?  Because I recall it used to be, you could hit that button and a larger version would appear as an overlay on top of your dash, but now it goes to a separate page.  Which is utter shit functionality, since once you've seen the image, you have to go back to your dash and maybe scroll down through 10 or 15 pages worth of posts to find your place again.

Seriously, why do so many sites feel compelled to make tweaks that make their products harder to use?

It's really fucking frustrating when a system just breaks without any rhyme or reason. I'm talking about tumbr's image handling, if it weren't obvious enough. Seriously. Someone explain to me how it makes sense for it to choke on this but accept this. Both of them are well within the limits, it's just... one is in colour, and the other is greyscale.. Anyone?
