Texture

The texture is one of the elements that give us a perception of touch or how the surface feels. We can find two types of texture, image texture and pattern texture.

Image texture is a combination of geometric or organic shapes and colour. This type of textures trigger sensations of touch just by looking to an image.

Pattern texture is normally generated by organic or geometric shapes and colour as the image texture too. Repetition i svery present when w etalk about pattern texture because most of the paterns are created by repeating a shape.

We can find environmental, biological and human-made textures.
