Avril Lavigne has a new video out called Hello Kitty, this is based on eastern asian culture, and can help me a lot in my inspirations.

Eastern Asian culture is becomming more and more popiular with other parts of the world and not only being restricted to asia. for example Psy's song Gangam style and this song becomming popular in Amercia and Enland proves this.

Change of concept

I wanted to experiment with something comepetly different, and i was inspired by korean culture, i wanted to create a poster for a muscician, trying to get into the industry in this korean doll like style.

Media effects on Girls Body Image

  According to "Paul Long, and Tim Hall (2009) Media studies, Texts, Productions and Context" A survey was done in 1996 in the USA akin girls of the ages 9/10 if they had tried to loose weight, 40% said they did. pg. 237

"Teenage girls who watched commercials depicting woman who modelled the unrealistically thin ideal body type of beauty felt less confident, more angry and more dissatisfied  with their weight and appearance."
