1. The concept for this icon was EyePhone.  The random adjective that I used was ‘fascinated,’ which made me think of conspiracy theories of the government watching people through their webcams, so I put the eye in the place of the selfie camera.

2. This icon started out with the concept of ‘death.’ The random adjective generator gave me ‘green,’ which made me think of rebirth and reincarnation, so I tried to represent this with the eye socket in the shape of a fetus.

3. The concept for this icon was ‘beauty guru.’  I think that people do not consider the meaning behind the word ‘guru,’ so I wanted to explore this.  The oblique strategy for this one was ‘accept advice,’ so I took Christine’s advice to play with religious imagery and decided to make a halo of beauty products.

All three of these started with things/symbols that I really love being coffee, aliens, and skulls. I paired each of them with a somewhat ironic or funny adjective from the online generator.
