Iodessa..... there’s a J/C kissing scene out there somewhere??!!!!! Aaaaahhhh I’m with you on that one! I would pay money to see that! I’m still so bitter for teasing us for 7 years and end with NOTHING! I was hoping they were finally going to give us something after Shattered and Workforce in season 7..... and then they go breaking our hearts with that beyond awful ending! ������������

Aaaw, thank you so much! I have such a soft spot for that story - mostly because it started as a Livejournal prompt challenge for a groundhog trope, where Sandor lived Sansa’s wedding day over and over again, and what I wrote there (in about daily instalments over a time) was heartfelt alright, but in a cool light of day when I planned to post it on AO3, as I realised, also pretty bad...

So I had to pick it up and completely rehaul the whole story (link here). And it was like another exciting journey along the same route, but with a different aspect... So another challenge as well!

Totally agree. Also, I wonder how the meeting went with the producers where they told them they had amazing chemistry, but to dial it down a little.

Thanks! It was pretty tasty too... Just have to figure out how to make it rise more; more active starter perhaps, more added yeast, more kneading? Any suggestions will be gratefully received from the Tumblr baking fandom!

@lodessa Me too! It seems almost silly how much I missed on first read. I guess the story was just so good and so layered (and so long) I didn’t notice the extensive setup.

I think that is often the case with foreshadowing anyway, since you can’t know what is being foreshadowed until the second time round.  

But also yes, the complexity of the story but also all the years between when I read Game of Thrones (Early 1999) to the subsequent books and then to now also plays a role in it.

I have considered Aerys/Cersei before...in the context of Aerys being excessively forward with Joanna, and using Cersei (and Jaime) to exact revenge on Tywin.

Well that makes me feel a bit better, honestly.  

It feels so true that Aerys wanted to exact revenge of Tywin, but I’ve never been sure exactly what for.  I don’t suppose you have any pet ideas on that?  (Like it kind of feels like jealousy of some sort maybe? )
