NACHOS! A CANON FIC?! Da fuq?! 😁 i never thought i would ever see the day! We’ve been talking about it for a week!

I just checked and the Google Doc was created in March 2019 so you still might not ever see the day 😂

It’s been through multiple drafts and rewrites since then but, uh, yeah, don’t hold your breath!

So you’re telling me that on Lexa’s anniversary in 2019 you started a canon fic…and the good people of Clexakru might not see it?! Say it isnt so, you’re such a tease lol.

Settle something though…didnt you used to say you wouldnt write a canon fic?

They might see it on the 10th anniversary?* 😬

Hmm, no I don’t think that was me. At least I don’t remember saying so! I have written a bunch of canon divergent one-shots but always got cold feet about writing a proper multi-chapter story set in canonverse when others have done it far better than I ever could. That opinion hasn’t really changed lol, but I’m continuing to noodle around anyway.

Nachos. As someone who enjoys cake and biscuits and bread and who also enjoys WATCHING cake and biscuits and bread being made, i feel it is my duty to inform you that this must be made into a fic! I am quite partial to some fanfiction and i therefore, if you please, NEED a Dont Wanna Be Your Great British Bake Off fic! No idea why i went so formal with this, but, yeah! 😁. It surely must be the last subject not yet covered by Clexa fics! Toodles.

Listen, I already have a lot of feels about this.

- Lexa excels at the finicky challenges where she has to, idk, construct something elaborate out of gingerbread. - Clarke’s bakes are a bit rough around the edges but she always has great flavours, if sometimes a little quirky or overly adventurous. - During a Showstopper, disaster strikes and Clarke drops one tier of her cake. Lexa smoothly and calmly steps in to help Clarke salvage what she can. Their hands brush as they retrieve the ruined sponge from the floor and sparks fly.- After that, Lexa always sits beside Clarke while they’re being judged for the technical challenge and during the reveal of Star Baker/the elimination.- Clarke makes tons of double entendres and Lexa purses her lips every time because she’s so. serious. But gradually Clarke begins to wear her down. Lexa even cracks a smile once or twice, but still makes a show of rolling her eyes.- Clarke probably has a “hilarious” tits and garters apron that the production team forbid her from wearing during filming.- At some point, you know Lexa bakes something that looks like a candle.

34. Scene/paragraph I’m most proud of. Ugh, this is super hard because I’m always hugely ambivalent about my writing. I’m going to be sneaky and say that the Anya scenes in my upcoming Tennis AU (Grand Slam Thank You Ma’am) have been a joy to write… 😈

38. I don’t title my chapters—except for my collection of prompt fics, where it doubles as the fic title. I don’t have a favourite although I did like ‘Come fly with me’ which is Clexa joining the mile high club. I’m afraid I’m not very sophisticated or meaningful about naming things and usually rely upon song lyrics/titles.

Nachos. How dare you post 3/4, maybe even 2, asks a day about tennis au! I mean, really. It's all over my dash and i can't scroll past it quick enough! There are tennis skirts, balls (eww) and sweaty Lexa's everywhere! I can't unsee it. How fuckin dare you!

Lol. I’ll be sure to include some (tennis) balls flying at Lexa’s face in the fic, just for you. ;)

You dont read fanfic?! Woah. You are really missing out on some fantastic stuff. The calibre of the writers in the Clexa fandom alone are second to none!

I’m sure there are lots of really great stories out there!  Unfortunarely, I am very (very very very) picky, and very small things that most people would overlook can throw me completely out of a story and make it impossible for me to read.  

Also, there are a finite number of hours in the day, and I have to make a choice between using the time I have to read fic, or to write it.  I choose to write.

3. What’s your favorite fandom to write for?Clexa!  It’s pretty much the only fandom I write for anymore.  

9. What fic tropes do you always love?I don’t really know, becaues I don’t really read fic?  And I don’t think I write any particular tropes more often than others… although I could be wrong about that, and if I am people are free to let me know!  lol

17. What angsty fic has ripped your heart to shreds the most?Don’t read fic, so…  Writing-wise, I would say the one that hurt the most to write was Fleimkepa and Ascenscion.

21. What fanfic authors inspire you?I probably should have put a disclaimer that I don’t really read fic… :-/  I don’t have any answer to this.  43. What abandoned fic do you most wish could be finished?Sorry… can’t answer this one either.
