[1:52am] "mark.." you whisper to the sleepy figure next to you. "can't sleep?" he asks groggily. You felt bad that you were waking him up because you couldn't sleep. You sat up straight in the bed and started to play with your fingers. You knew Mark was tried and needed rest but you just couldn't help but feel scared. The rain was pouring hard and light thunder noises were blaring around the city. "are you scared? Do you want me to cuddle you and sing you a lullaby?" he asked. I just nodded because I was on the verge of tears. He embraced me and started to sing 'angel' quietly. When I finished I could only thank him as I felt comfort. "don't be. Sleep well." was the last thing I heard before I fell asleep.
