Ladybug headcanon time~ (You know you guys missed me doing obscene amounts of these for the fandoms I'm in.) Alright, so Adrien is at least taking Chinese and as every foreign language student knows, the first thing you look up is curse words (second is pick up lines, after that is directions, food, bathrooms, and THEN you try conquering the actual language). For this we're assuming Marinette knows Chinese (her mother may most likely know it but that doesn't mean Marinette herself is bilingual). So Adrien is Chat Noir and must be a good role model, right? So that means no cursing, at least in French. One day, possibly when they're a bit older, Chat's having a bad day or the akuma is being particularly (pawticularly) tricky and he just mutters out some random Chinese curses and Ladybug just stops and gives him the most offended look he's ever seen on her and he just has the GRIPPING REALIZATION that she knows EXACTLY what he just said. So now they occasionally talk in Chinese spurring up who knows how many theories in the general public on who these two are and wait isn't Ladybug like hundreds or thousands of years old or something...? And then Chat starts using pick up lines and Ladybug can't even mutter anything about it under her breath because he actually understands her. Imagine what you will with Adrien and Marinette in this. Hell for all we know Adrien one day goes up to her and is like 'hey your bilingual right can you help me with pick up lines...?' or something. And maybe after she's done freaking out because she's just listening to him tell her pick up lines she sets up a couple of non pickup lines without Adrien knowing because heck why not but then Chat Noir uses them on Ladybug and Marinette just has to wonder...
