Imagine laying in your bed in a thursday afternoon with your headphones in when you suddenly get a text. It was Liam, he wrote "Hey Emily, school's been kind of boring without you. Where've you been?" You've been home for almost a week now, you're not sick, just tired of school. The fact that he actually noticed that you were gone made you happy, cause you almost never texted him, but you've always thought he's intresting.. and pretty good looking too, "Hey Liam, i've had a cold.." you lied "..but I think I'll be back in school soon" He replied fast - "Oh, good thing! I'm sure you'll have a lot to catch up with, I'm just a text away if you need help with anything" Your whole body got goosebumps, *we're not even in the same class, he's one year older.. how could he help me with the homework? Or is this just a excuse to meet me?* you thought. Both you and him had never showed feeling to each other, the fack is, you never really talked to each other. Just about how much the food in school sucks, and maybe a few jokes too.. and when you gave him your number that one time in detention.
You answered his text - "Yeah, probably. Thank you so much Liam!" And he just replied with a smileyface. You're both happy and confused, but most of all, curious. What if he's just joking? He doesn't feel like a person who would joke around like that, but you'll never know.
It was getting late, so you started planning what to wear in school the next day. You find a bigsized knitted jumper and black jeans, *that'll due*, and take a fast shower then brush your teeth. "See you tomorrow :) Goodnight" you texted Liam and he replied with "Sure thing dude, goodnight Emily!" The way he called you "dude" had always made you smile, cause he did it in a cute way.
You fell asleep with a smile on your face, and this night you were actually looking forward to school.
