3D Printing and Toy Making Event
On the 21st of January 2015, iMakr was happy to kick off the new year with a workshop on 3D Printing and Toy Making at the iMakr Store. The toy industry, driven by its nature of being experimental, creative and fun, has also started to look into this technology for a revolutionary way to design and manufacture toys. The evening started in a relaxed atmosphere with drinks, networking and lots of interesting discussions on what the future holds for 3D printing and Toy Making and how we can harness this technology. This was followed by 3D printing demonstrations and a presentation by the iMakr expert team. Kirby, Lloyd and Rees received insightful feedback from the audience. They were very enthusiastic about learning more about 3D Printing and learning about the softwares MyMiniFactory and iMakr uses. Great turn out!
