Description of evil scholars,

‘They cause more harm to the weak ones from among our shi’aa than the army of Yazid did to Husayn b. Ali (a.s.) and his companions,

for they snatched away their lives and their property, whereas these evil scholars … enter doubt and obscurity into the weak ones from among our shi’aa and lead them astray.’

Imam Al-Askari (as) knowledge of the Qur'an:

In the next couple days will be the Birth of our 11th Imam (as), the father of Imam al-Mahdi (aj), following posts will try be dedicated to th efather of the Imam of our time (as), insh'allah, starting with the knowledge of the Qur'an that our Imam (as) had in this beautiful narration:

Abu Hashim al-Ja’fari said, ‘Once, I was with Abu Muhammad (a.s.) and asked him about this saying of Allah: (Then We gave the Book for an inheritance to those whom We chose from among Our servants; but of them is he who wrongs himself, and of them is he who takes a middle course, and of them is he who is foremost in deeds of goodness by Allah's permission).

He said, ‘It has been revealed about the progeny of Muhammad (AS). One, who wrongs himself, is the one who does not acknowledge the imam, and one who takes a middle course is the one who acknowledges the imam, and one who is foremost in deeds of goodness by Allah’s permission is the imam.’

My eyes shed tears and I thought to myself of what Allah had given to the progeny of Muhammad (AS). The imam looked at me and said, ‘How great is that which your self told you about the great importance of the progeny of Muhammad! Thank Allah for He has made you love them! You shall be called with them on the Day of Resurrection when every human being shall be called with his imam. Be delighted Abu Hashim! You are in good state.’

Our God Fearing Young Imam al-Askari (as) (Must Read Reminder to All)

To note some qualities of the Imam (as), one of his distinct aspects in his childhood was the fear of Allah (swt):

The historians mention this story, that one day some man passed by Imam Abu Muhammad (as) and saw him cry while he was with his fellow children, just children of the neighborhood it may seem. The man than thought that this child might be crying for the toys in the children's hands and that he could not participate in their games. The man than told the child that the would buy him what he wanted, the child than said:

‘No! We have not been created to play games’

The man of course when hearing such a reply was amazed, astonished, and he than said: ‘Then, for what have we been created?’

The child responded, ‘For knowledge and for worship’

The man asked the child, ‘Where have you got this from?’

The child responded, ‘From this saying of Allah (swt): 

What! Did you then think that We had created you in vain [Qur’an 23:115] 

The man was again amazed and he said to the child: 
‘What has happened to you while you are still a so young’

The Child said’ I have seen my mother set fire to big pieces of firewood, but fire is not lit except with small pieces, and I fear that I shall be from the small pieces of the firewood of the hell.’
