Ayesha Turner
Ayesha’s amicable down-to-earth personality and penchant for calling out bullshit has made her an effective guidance counselor at one of San Myshuno’s high schools. She has a deep understanding of youth culture coupled with a desire to help others. When she’s not doling out advice to teenagers, Ayesha spends her time sculpting and enjoys creating ceramic pottery. Quickly approaching her mid-thirties, she is hoping to have children soon but her husband’s unconventional career has made it difficult.
Malcolm Turner
As one of the city’s best DJ headliners, Malcolm spends most nights mixing hits for crowds of enthusiastic clubgoers. His charisma and creativity draws crowds that party from the night into the early hours of the morning. Although Malcolm loves the nightlife, his unusual work schedule means he doesn’t see his wife as much as he would like to. While his current career is exciting and lucrative, both him and his wife don’t believe it’s conducive to having a family. So with change on the horizon, Malcolm will eventually need to figure out a new career path; something he is terrified to consider.
Imani Chambers
Imani’s business is gossip and business is good. She currently dishes dirt on one of the most popular celebrity gossip blogs. Although receiving tons of hate mail and derogatory comments sometimes gets her down, the money she receives from ad revenue quickly lifts her spirits. Imani is hoping to transform the popularity of her blog into a reality tv show. She recently began releasing videos on youtube detailing her daily life and career. Imani’s past times include shopping, fine dining and exotic vacations.
Reggie Chambers
Work has been unbearably slow for Reggie. His job as owner of a talent agency isn’t bringing in the profits it used to. It’s clear San Myshuno has seen a rather unfortunate drop in talented musicians, models and actors. Reggie’s dwindling clients include a washed up rockstar and a delusional young woman who couldn’t act herself out of a paper bag. Hoping his fortune will change, he has taken a chance on two local pop singers. Having sunk the rest of his company’s assets into promoting these young women, Reggie has his fingers crossed that fame and fortune are right around the corner for them.
Savi Snowden
Sex sells and as a writer, Savi is attempting to peddle her sultry novels to the masses. Starting out as merely an author of steamy fanfiction, she decided to take her passion for racy literature to the next level. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in English, she spent the next year honing her writing skills and perfecting the first draft of her novel. Savi submitted it to over 20 twenty publishing companies and was rejected from all but one. Now as an author for a small romance publisher she is free to transform provocative fantasies into books enjoyed by everyone from college co-ed’s to soccer moms.
Nate Snowden
Although Nate would never admit it, he is slightly embarrassed by his wife’s career as a romance author. They both attended the same prestigious liberal arts college and he assumed they would also both become award winning authors of distinguished literature. Despite his wife’s ambitions taking a different turn, Nate does his best to support and encourage her. As an author himself, he hopes to eventually write a novel that lands itself on the bestseller’s list. But until his book reaches that level of popularity, Nate earns his living as a literary critic and columnist for the local paper.
The party continues well into the night with no end in sight. It doesn’t seem like anyone is ready to go home. The two newlyweds are cuddled up at the end of the table elated about their recent nuptials.
