How do you follow the show while writing? Like do you watch each episode as you write? I’ve been wanting to write but i’ve been having a hard time with following the show.

yes, i typically watch each episode as i write!

usually what i do is rewatch each episode and kind of skip through so that i know what order scenes occur in or even the timeline of events (so like what day it is, whether it’s night time, etc). then for whatever scenes that need exact dialogue taken from the episode, i watch it and write it down. if what i’m writing doesn’t need exact dialogue or my memory is decent enough to get the point across i wont watch it as i write.

something that is pretty helpful that i do when mapping things out is rewatching the show and writing down a brief note of what is going on in each scene so that way later when i go to write everything, i have a clearer understanding of what is going on and i can integrate my own subplots into it!

i’m 5’5 and some change so i like to say i’m 5’6 lol

as a volleyball player i always wished i was taller, especially now in college because all my teammates and players from other schools are hella tall 😭

but my vert makes up for it so it’s okay!

also it’s so funny that you have a vision of your favorite authors in your head! you weren’t too far off with my height so i wonder if anything else is similar lol
