This time last year.....Yesterday was my first self promoted event at Bus Boys and Poets. As unpredictable and frightening as it is ,to take a step into the direction God has called me to ,it is even more frightening to not walk into purpose because of fear of the unknown. So I made the decision to go no matter what. I realize one of the major tools of the enemy is rejection ,and through my life I have experienced a lot of it. I never knew why I just couldn't seem to fit in or why I was either misunderstood or misquoted etc....As God directed my steps the big hindering block was,"what if they don't accept me ?" In this vulnerable state He reminds me to give what I have been given to the few. If I send one to you,is that one any less important? No ,then go and do my work. The power of being developed outside of acceptance is your intentions must be made pure. When the opinions of others are not the deciding factor then you won't be tempted to compromise for popularity. This is an uncomfortable process but very necessary. I am very appreciative for all who came to support and all who supported in prayer. God is the the source of my why, through my life and my story He gets all the glory!! Bianca was bored out of her mind and the one person she could think to hang out with was always too busy for her. Letting out a huff, she quickly got up off her bed and grabbed her phone, I'm coming over and picking you up. We're going out. She didn't give him any other choice as she hurriedly changed before leaving out the door. The brunette got into her car and drove over to Ashton's place, pulling up to the curb and honking the horn over and over again. She hoped the honking would force him out of the house and, once he was out, she was going to make sure he gave her some of his time. Despite her feelings for him, she thought of him as her best friend first and foremost. Texting him again, she giggled as she typed, Get your ass out here or I'll keep honking my horn. Your neighbors will be pissed. She pressed down on the car horn again, a big smirk on her face. She knew if his girlfriend found out about this, she'd be pissed, but that was because Bianca was intimidating and she knew it. Bianca wanted to be a threat, so hopefully one day she'd have Ashton instead.
