A quiet, secretive Muttwash expert navigator.

Born Siegfried Lovelace-Shaw, the bastard daughter of a marquessa and a lace-maker, Siegfried joined the navy under the alias "Edward St. John" and rose to the rank of lieutenant before disappearing into the murky waters one fateful night. After years on the run from the admiralty, she re-emerged as "Robin" when, by word of mouth, she heard that her former saviour Rufus Hunt was looking for men to join the Temperance. With her mixed upbringing with a Saltborn grandfather and the education of a noble Landborn lady, she navigates the chasm between crew and scientific officers with grace and ease, yet they know almost nothing of her background...
