"Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is the worst movie ever made!!!! What the hell were they thinking???? Since when is Starfleet so militaristic?? The Enterprise is a ship of exploration...not FIGHTING!!!! This movie is "Star Trek" in name only they should have called this "NAVAL TREK!!!" This was not Gene Roddenberry's vision!!! Nicholas Meyer and Harve Bennett are HACKS!!!!!!

And why the hell is Ricardo Montalban playing a character named "Noonien Singh??" That's an INDIAN name...Khan's heritage is INDIAN!!! Ricardo Montalban is MEXICAN!!!! Who's responsible for the poor casting choices in this movie?? How can KHAN NOONIEN SINGH be MEXICAN???

This is not "STAR TREK!!" Star Trek was all about exploration and discovery NOT space battles!!! Star Trek is DEAD!!! I hate this new "Meyerverse" Trek! And why did they have to rehash "Space Seed?" Can't these writers come up with anything original anymore?? And what the hell?? Khan recognizes Chekov in this movie...CHEKOV WASN'T EVEN IN THE EPISODE THIS MOVIE IS BASED ON???? This movie doesn't even make any sense!! And who the hell is Carol Marcus??? Some made up character that was trumped up by these hacks because the plot necessitated a reason for Kirk having a son??? CAPTAIN KIRK DOES NOT HAVE KIDS!!!! This is so out of character!!!"

Even if you don't like Into Darkness, you can't deny this is the EXACTLY the kind of reaction the film would get in some circles.
