Scotland Yard was not Abendroth’s division. Granted, he worked for MI5 and had been an agent for them for the past few years, meaning any internal problems were his duty to get to the bottom of. Such as this one, where a Political Figure had been assassinated live on air, throwing the public into the throes of panic. However he was used to working in the office, or on his own to gather intelligence, meaning people were not his thing. But now he had been sent in to see what Scotland Yard had been doing to solve this case-- and it was essential that it were the best on the case. Now it was a matter of not having an attack of any sort in front of all of these officers whilst he waited for this Detective Greg Lestrade. He had read his file before embarking on his mission earlier this morning, so he essentially knew everything about the man as if they had been life long friends.
Reiterating what he had read a few hours before, he stared at his hands which were clasped together in front of him, elbows resting on his knees.
