Nature Tripping -- Durano Eco Farm
This is not where we’re supposed to go but plans must be changed due to some circumstances. I’ll try to be informative as much as I could. Hehe. Let’s start!
Though this was an impulsive getaway which is not too far from where we’re residing -- Lapu-lapu City. I’ve always had this place on my mind since I found a facebook post about Durano Eco Farm. But I couldn’t get the right time and right people to come here with me, or with us. It wasn’t like before that we can easily ditch other people’s company so we could come all together. Requesting to have the same schedule with everyone seems to be grueling too! Luckily my go-to-buddy Gladdy had the same work off with us so we decided to finally unlock this adventure!
It was like 3-4 hours away from Lapu-lapu City. The place is very sudlunon (hahaha!) You must take habal-habal from Carmen Market. Fare would be 40php each person. Two people can back-ride together however since there were just the 3 of us, Gladdy was left alone with the driver and was asked to pay 100, which is a total rip off for her! So I haggled and agreed with 80.00 as well.
Note: Do not immediately agree with the prices they will offer because, truth be told, people are so mapanamantala esp if they notice that you’re new to the place. Haggle as much as you could. Try to make drama and look for other drivers. Walk away..slowly. Hahaha. They’ll come after you and soon will agree with the haggled price. Gotchuuu! ;)
It has 6 pools I think (?) I lost count since there were a lot of people during the time we came. Almost crowded! Mostly are big families! It’s such a great place for get-together except for elderly. It will be very hard to go up and down the area. It’s almost like Tinago Falls of my very own Iligan City!
Crystal clear. Right? :) The water is flowing by the way.
As pictured, we were stuck in that corner because we couldn’t get the chance to have a private photo op with the other swimming pools there. Hehe. There were less people on that area since there were less cottage near that pool.

Fare from Omapad to Carmen Market Php 50.00 x 2 (back n forth) = Php 100

Entrance Fee Php 100.00
Table with 4 Chairs - Php 300.00 (the cheapest) divided by the 3 of us = Php 100.00
