Sanders Sides “ages”
Okey, so I’ve heard about this thing where people think about how old the sides are and stuff, and I wanted to offer my take(yes i know no one cares shut up)
1) The whole idea of some sides (in the past) having been older than a different side doesn’t make sense to me. I’m talking about stories where Patton is like 30 i guess and taking care of a 5 year old Roman or something along those lines. It doesn’t make sense to me personally, because the sides are the same age now, and that would mean that while Thomas was 18 some sides were like twice his age or half his age and- It just doesn’t make sense to me. I’m not saying that people can’t write that. Just that I don’t have it as a headcanon, nor do I think it can be canon. As an Au, it works tho!
2) The whole “which side came first”. This is my take on it, if you have a different idea, go right ahead!
Virgil- First side. Appeared around the time Thomas was 6 months-1 year old. (At this time, Virgil was just nervousness.)
Patton- Second side. Appeared between when Thomas was around 1 year old. (As just emotions)
Creativity- Third Side. Appeared between when Thomas was 1 year - 3 years old. (Unsplit creativity)
Janus- Forth(ish) side. Appeared between when Thomas was 2 - 3 years old. (This one is tricky, I’m saying at the time, Janus was just Thomas’s want for things
Logan- Fifth Side. Appeared between when Thomas was 3 years old - 5 years old. (At this time, Logan was more of Thomas’s learning skill/ability to learn)
Logan- Turns into more of a sense of Logic, of using things Thomas learned around the age of 7
Patton- Turns into more of a sense of morality around the age of 8-9.
Janus- Alongside with Patton, he turns into more of a sense of selfishness and deciet around the age of 8-10.
Virgil- Turns from nervousness+fear into anxiety, around the time when Thomas was 13-14.
Creativity- Splits into Roman and Remus around when Thomas is 14-15
And then there’s a bit more development, I suppose, but those would be the main. Again, these are just my thoughts, and you are welcome to disagree with me! I’d love to know your thoughts too!
