Danny gave a lightly grateful look. His family, his friends…gone. The end of the world came as a shocker, and he was glanced out worriedly at what was left of the world.
It was strangely peaceful, silence and nobody in sight. It was also creepy, and the lack of others was discomforting. He had no clue what was out there, and he was thankful for Clockwork’s agreement to come with him. Even if it would have only been temporary.
“I don’t know what to do,” he admitted, giving a light sigh, running his hand through his hair. “Or where to go.”
Danny looked appreciative, to which Clockwork nodded. The ghost boy’s nerves were to be expected, having just lost everyone he cared about.
"Not much to do I’m afraid,” he replied. Clockwork himself saw no pressing matters he needed tending to either. Apocalypse or not, he was the ghost of time, not the grim reaper or some other being that handled souls once they’d passed. “As for where to go we’ve two options: Return to the Ghost Zone, or remain here. That is entirely up to you.”
The choices weren’t the best, seeing as the Ghost Zone would be bursting at the seams with brand new spirits. And the Earth was a wasteland. Peaceful though it may be, it was barren and lifeless.
