This season of change and heartache are not easy and my words truly doesn’t even scratch the surface. This trip to visit my mom was a difficult one on so many different levels. With the loss of Evan at the center of this season and several major life changes I’m without words to describe the weight that looms over my heart. I went tonight to church here in Charlotte as tomorrow is a travel day. The power of corporate worship is holy and the presence of the living God so strong. Elevation Worship released 5 songs with the album title “At Midnight” which references the verses from Acts 16 and specifically verse 25 where Paul and Silas are in prison and were praying and singing to God and the prison doors opened and chains came loose. I’m amazed at the impact of these words over me. The message from the pastor was one of Hope. That we can believe but we must take action to activate faith because in the unknown that’s where faith is...in the places that it’s hard, uncomfortable, and terrifying yet Jesus is always present. He is calling me to keep walking even though I don’t see what is right before me and I can tell you He is my solid. He is my help in times of trouble. He’s going to win. We know how this story ends. Thank you, Jesus for your love for me and for our family. #joiinme💚 #imgoingtoseeavictory #notmybattle #elevationworship #elevationchurch #jesus #grief #loss #bereavedmother #bereavedparents #heseesme #atmidnight (at Elevation Church - Ballantyne) https://www.instagram.com/p/B12tN8-HV1D/?igshid=y8zgpkae6qxx
