I haven’t been consistently blogging lately,  This summer has been super busy and honestly I did not have time to sit and think and absorb all the good things I have now in my life.

A great nephew almost a year old and another one soon to arrive.  I had forgotten the joy’s a baby can bring into your world

Another successful conference is under my belt and another brain injury article will be posted in a few weeks.

I spent so many years unable to do anything.  Drive a car, think and process new information; have any amount of freedom just to be me.  Now it’s all I want to do.  I still have a long journey to travel on (we all do after such a serious injury).  Now I can say, I do belong in this brain, in this body.

Recovery is possible, don’t ever forget that.  Your journey is your own

Rainy Run🌧🌧🌧

Just started up my summer training this week and the weather has been so crappy with the heat, so I was so happy today when it started to rain on my run! 😊 Everything just felt much better and I felt much faster (even if it wasn't by much)
