"Keith is Weblum Galra" theory isn't very popular just like "Shiro is Lotor" isn't so maybe THAT IS the plot twist. Most theories are WG is Keith's relative & before the reveal, Lotor. Keith changing his gender/time travel sounds too fantastic for most. Feeling "meh" about his arc, well, could be because he is considered too gary-stuish. Natural born leader, long-lost prince w/ Galran/Altean blood, time-traveler, co-ruler of the cosmo w/ King Shiro. Lance is popular 'cause he's the underdog.
