Liked mindedness builds community; Strengthens bonds; sells jewelry and upholds culture. One’s personal history can be articulated by their jewelry artifacts. Each piece reflects life’s authentic experiences and choices. The cult of sharing a night(s) out and its resulting memories can take shape in a silver bar ring, gold nail ring or other Bijules jewelry silhouettes. Those single moments live forever in metal and gems; yet have been replicated, copied, imitated, and knocked off. If you’ve ever partied downtown, that’s what launching a jewelry concept into the market is like;) It’s risky but you do it 200% anyways. As a design creative, I relish moments of inspiration and hunger for concepts to apply in original jewelry designs. My night(s) out, childhood nostalgia or collaborative conversations are deeply personal yet humbly universal so for them to ultimately manifest for more likeminded people, it is a profound honor. It is also an honor to fuel sub pop culture with integrity and honesty. For those who have NOT shared a crazy night out or translated Lee Press On nails into modern nail rings, I feel betrayed. That is how it feels when my copyrighted designs are knocked off. When Forever21, H&M, eBay, and all of China could have NEVER designed the #bijulesnailring but somehow they act like they were at the same party? At the same time?
