Kind of Exciting News...
Starting the 23rd of July, I will be the Brass Instructor for the Knox Community High School Marching Band. It's pretty exciting because I really enjoy marching band and I love playing brass instruments. Although I am proficient in every brass instrument (and my primary brass instrument is the trombone), I am pretty nervous about this job. First, I haven't really played since junior year of high school, even though I doubt they'll have me play. However, it is exciting because I love teaching, especially music. I know what the group needs to sound like, and I know how to get them to a high caliber of musicianship. All in all, this is pretty exciting for me, and I'm ready to work with the brass players of the marching band.
