man people are getting so butthurt about peter! I'm actually super excited to have someone different. I think he's going to bring a certain snark to the show that only an older and wiser person could bring. I mean he IS 1000 years old. And besides, Peter has this sparkle in his eye that matt NOR david had because he's just ~older~.

People are always going to get butt-hurt over change, especially since The Doctor is a character that's so near and dear to a lot of hearts. There's a certain protectiveness that people have over him, and I think that's normal considering the show has been going for a very, very long time.

There are tons of people who are excited by the choice, myself being one of them. I don't know much about Capaldi, but if there's one thing I don't think DW has screwed up, it's casting. Characters themselves, that's a different story, but casting has always been spot-on.

those are speed skates with pro wheels that can only be used indoors. i have a pair of riedells that are crazy expensive. i loooove them <333
