Mr Chocolate Torte
It was many years ago. When exactly I can’t recall. But it was one of your tweets that got me to follow when we’re both complete strangers. My bio read “She’s off her rockers.” or something like that and I didn’t notice till much later that you tweeted it with an #interesting remark. Yes, it’s creepy that I could even remember but the little things are hard to forget. Like our chat. I was already going to bed, but you convinced me to stay up the night. We talked about anything and everything. That was probably the most interesting conversation I’ve had with a guy in the longest time. You were different. Definitely out of my league. Which was why when you suggested to meet over dessert, I slowly made my retreat. We didn’t talk again after that. Although occasionally you’ll reply to a tweet of mine, and I’ll retweet one of yours. I guess you got bored for back then, I tend to rant and complain. Like the typical girl you said I wasn’t. Must have been a turn off or perhaps it was because you got snuffed. Actually when I think back, maybe just maybe I was reading you all wrong and had jump to the conclusion that you, like me, may have a smidgen of likeness towards me the way I did you. But I guess I never learned my lesson, about declining an invite to hang out because since, I’ve only find myself in the company of no one I like as much. Sometimes I wish my time turner works but alas, magic only happened that one night we chatted non-stop. Since then, we’ve become yet strangers again.
PS: I actually wanted to send this privately, but decided against it. There’s no harm in publicly sharing this because the way I see it, someone out there might be in the same situation I was then and needed that 2 seconds of crazy courage to decide. Maybe this will help.
An image of Elsa Bell looking really cheeky for the cover of Sphere’s Raging Pop Regime EP.
