Times got pretty rough. The number of Doves in the different wards increased drastically and everyone is getting more and more careful. Nobody knows why or when the CCG decided to be more poised to attack, but there is already a hand full of strong Ghouls which underestimated the backup of Doves. In this chaos Renji was able to observe something very unpleasant, something he wasn’t even aware of - he was able to see a Quinque which resembled his own Kagune in almost every way. And there could be only one meaning behind this.
A few days ago the witch killed the Dove who was in possession of the Quinque, which was made of his sisters Kagune. And his investigations yielded that the witch was still in possession of the Quinque. Which is why he decided to see her to aks her, if she could get rid of it. It took some time but finally he is standing in front of her (or at least the woman matches the description perfectly), the dark side road throws a shadow onto his stature and he isn’t completely sure if following her was a good idea - after all she could be adverse.
