Dude! I saw your headcanon about Trini and her drug problem... I can almost promise you, like 99.99% sure, that Trini smoked pot ONCE and her Latina mom went nuts and said "ya es una marijuana!" My mom said that to my brother and made him take drug tests too lol so that scene was very reminiscent for me haha.

I offered to buy my friend tickets to Power Rangers but he refused. His sole reasoning for not seeing it? The Kanye song in the trailer. He was already against the casting (because he's racist and won't admit it just because he married a Latina he thinks he's not). I told him Zack's mom's storyline reminded me of him because he was close to his mom and she was sick too, but his response was basically "Zack's Asian, can't relate." Like mother fucker...

gksmgks this is so so nasty. See, people can’t tell me racism didn’t play a huge part on the movie not being successful in theaters. They can miss me with that “We don’t want a faux marvel” bs. Hollywood legitimately thinks Asians and Latinxs can’t sell movies… Why do you think we’re never given lead roles?? And by not supporting movies like PR the audience is pretty much agreeing with them. They’re so uncomfortable with the idea of a superhero movie not revolving around a Caucasian male lead huh??  Like just admit y'all racist and mc’go!!

The character of Tommy Oliver is written as being of Native American decent (despite the actor being white). Frankly, I don't care if Tommy is male or female, but the character should stay Native American. I'm majorly feeling Devery Jacobs, Nikki Gould, or Amber Midthunder as female Tommy. Also...
