Immortals 2 chapter 5
The feeling of being watched never left Lyric.
As she walked through the hall to her next class, the feeling became stronger, like someone was right behind her.
She whipped around to see a boy. He was about her age, at least an inch taller than her with a ripped black jacket and jeans with a white tee shirt.
“Finally you notice me.” He said, his voice almost seductive.
Lyric could feel her hands get hot.
“May I ask why the hell you’re following me?” She asked, defensively.
“I just saw you were going the same way I was. May I walk with you?”
“….fine. Just keep your distance, alright?”
He nodded and they preceded to walk to class.
“I’m Jase, by the way. Jase Carson.”
“What, you expect me to give you my name after you were just following me?”
“I was not following.”
“Yeah, right.”
“You know I’ll just figure it out sometime later, right? So you might as well tell it to me now.”
Was he just threatening me? She thought.
This boy seemed both weird and persistent. He probably wouldn’t stop until he got his answer.
“Lyric…. Lyric Ocathra.” She said hesitantly.
“A beautiful name for a beautiful girl…”
Okay, this is just getting weird.
“Well this is my stop. I’ll see you later. And hopefully never.” She muttered.
“Yes, well. I shall see you later, Miss Ocathra.”
Jase began to walk away, Lyric opened the door to her class room.
“Oh, by the way, tell Eden I said hi…”
She froze. She looked over at him, shocked, but he was gone.
How did he know about Eden?
