Homework was something Matt could easily handle even if he didn't really want to. But it's either take care of the assignment right off the bat or deal with a possible disappointed and angry teacher. Though his teacher for this particular assignment didn't seem too bad, he still preferred to turn it in the day it was assigned and have it out of the way than at the last minute.
"Uh, well, I'm Matt and my reason for joining is I'm interested in learning about the art forms that were incorporated in the aesthetics I've seen and felt inspired by," He wasn't sure if he should outright say it that he'd only reference them from games he had played but he felt that explanation was honest and good enough, "personally my favorite art movement had to be.." He looked down to the left thinking about it, "futurism." He didn't feel like he needed to add the reason why in his verbal presentation as he included a more detailed explanation on his assignment paper and as such placed it on her desk, nodding once as well as giving a quick, short smile.
