Turmeric, Ginger, and Almond Milk Latte (V, GF)
This golden caffeine-free latte is a warm blend of two Greenhouse favourites: our rich and creamy Almond Milk, blended with our powerful Ginger Booster. Combined and heated, the ingredients are not only fibre-rich and inflammation-fighting, but they’re also unbelievably, inconceivably, impossibly delicious.
Add few sprinkles of cinnamon and pepper, plus a bit of something sweet if you’d like, for a tasty mug. Bonus: Because it’s blended without coffee, this latte can be consumed at any time of day, and won’t leave you feeling jittery. (You may, however, find yourself doing the jitterbug when you take your first sip.)
Ingredients:
250ml bottle Almond Milk
½ to 1 tsp of freshly chopped/powdered turmeric
½ to 1 tsp Ginger Booster (or freshly chopped/powdered ginger)
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of pepper
Optional: 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (depending on how sweet you like your latte)
Steps:
Add all ingredients to a pot, using more or less turmeric and ginger if you desire, and whisk together.
Let your liquid warm up over medium heat—but do not bring the mixture to a full on, hardcore, all out boil.
To create foam, continue to whisk your mix while it is heating up.
Pour your latte into a nearby mug. If you are using chopped ginger or turmeric, be sure to use a strainer while you pour to avoid any debris.
