Rantaro is an asexual greyromantic xumgender buddy, just vibing. "Xumgender is the state of never being satisfied with ones gender, no matter how well it fits, due to self-doubt or identity issues. This causes one to compulsively search and seek out something that fits even better- to find "the gender" or "the one truth"- though one will never be found due to A) One's neurotype. B) Words will never be able to describe one's gender. C) One's gender is paradoxical. This inability to find a "one true gender" frequent causes anxiety and doubt and can even cause the label xumgender to feel imperfect to the individual." Would likely just call themself a cis guy because they really just would rather not talk about this with anyone.

Shuichi is non-binary and bisexual and ABSOLUTELY came out 20 different times in their life, ((prefacing this with the fact they're afab so this isn't as confusing)) going somewhere along the lines of lesbian > bisexual > gay trans man > bisexual trans man > ace demiboy > bisexual non-binary!!! we did it gang we got Shuichi's final identity

Kaito was SUPER late into the LGBTQIA+ game + getting friends in the community, he's very new to it and has been confidently calling hisself straight for a long time because it's just What He Knows and he always figured any Male Attraction was just bro homie love. no one tell him he's bisexual. ((on call i started cry-laughing at the thought of him going "holy crap maki i'm bisexual" and her being like "uh-huh" peter griffin kaito has ruined my day))

Kokichi is a gay trans boy!!!!!! That's it. he still wears makeup and ""feminine"" clothes and will gut you if you refer to him as anything other than He
