Speeding

I should be happy right now. I just got out of a speeding ticket because of my last name, and my father in law is a cop. But all it did is make me cry. It's just another reminder that I'm in a foreign place. That this is not my home, I don't know the speed limits or how to get anywhere new without GPS. When I got pulled over I had no clue why. I thought I was going the speed limit. I was going 56 I thought the speed limit was 55. Then he asks for license and registration and he reads my name and asks who is your daddy? I was taken aback for a min cuz it didn't even register to me why that would matter, my dad is in Cali. Then it clicked he probably recognized the last name and knows my father in law. I was written a warning thankfully. But I didn't think I was doing anything wrong. Which makes this place so annoying. It's not my home.
