I love the "homicidal ship AI" trope with my whole heart. here's my headcanon for I.MO.G.E.N.. i think they have a little chibi avatar "icon" version and a bigger, more detailed version that fills the whole screen when someone does something against the rules. also, I think that their face moves more humanlike and natural, but their hair moves with v-tuber style physics.

the outfit that they wear is a much older version of the Stellar Firma uniform, now out of production for several hundred years. they haven't got a graphics update since then, so their outfit is much closer to an old earth uniform than a modern crew uniform.

I’m obsessed with the post-canon dynamic between David-7 and IMOGEN…  an ancient all-powerful supercomputer who can and will remove the oxygen from rooms people annoying her are in decides she likes an anxious seven-month old who’s been forced to develop a shocking amount of emotional maturity on a quest across the galaxy to find the seven-month-old’s celebrity crush.... What does this look like.

Am I certain IMOGEN is going to turn on David? Yes.

Is this being at least partially influenced by recent experiences with other characters played by Imogen Harris? Also yes.
