New stretch goals unlocked! 👀 👀 👀
Thanks to your support, we have successfully reached our goal for funding the naturalistic sound design (i.e. sending Mark into a soggy field with a microphone and some wellies) and the prequel episode, which we have some really interesting plans for. Super exciting stuff, but the fun doesn't stop here! We're beyond hyped to let you know that:
At £19,500 we will unlock the musical score! You may have noticed that this was not included in our base budget; this was one of the ways we minimised the amount necessary to successfully fund the project. When we hit this goal, though, not only will we be able to hire a talented composer to score Beck's End, but we will share the entire score as a free add-on to anyone who pledged £20 or more!
At £20,500 we will be able to expand our cast and further populate Beck's End. This means more voices, more agendas, more scheming, possibly more drama, who can say? You can, when we achieve this goal! Additionally, this goal will allow us to give all our actors a well deserved bonus payment 💚
As I type this the pledges are ticking in and we are currently at £18,570, £930 away from our next goal. Join us in making this the best production it can be, we'll see you in Beck's End! The road to hell is a babbling brook... Image description in alt text.
Yay new Magnus Protocol tomorrow I can't wait to find out what Sam and the mean lesbians are up to
Map is now available as an add-on!
Want to own a piece of the creepiest village in the Lake District? Add the map (which will be printed with the key included) to your pledge before the campaign ends this Friday! Illustration by Leah Roehn, image description in alt text
WE DID IT 🎉🎉🎉
Beck's End is now FULLY FUNDED on Kickstarter!
This means many things: most importantly it means that we get to bring this wonderfully weird and unsettling village to life and share it with you! It means that you will get to enjoy every last bit of it, and if you're a supporter, you get to know that you helped make it all possible – if you're at £15 or higher you get the episodes early and without ads, even. Furthermore, it means that anyone who backs from here on out can know that they're guaranteed the rewards they want, including a surprise add-on that'll become available later today 👀
And if you've been considering supporting us, please take this as your formal invitation to join the party! We have great reward tiers, fun add-ons, and exciting stretch goals including a stylised prequel episode directed by Ella Watts herself 💚
Thank you all so much for the support, for the reblogs and the tags and the enthusiasm to tell us that yes, this is something you want made. No words can express how much this means to everyone involved.
The road to hell is a babbling brook... and now, the flood is inevitable.
