Back to where we met

"Where are you two taking me?" Imogen asked curiously as she followed Romeo and Carlo along the trail. It's been a few months since she found herself back in time to the Belle Epoque era during her abroad trip to Krat, and since then, the two men were hoping to get her to remember her life at the Monad Charity House, her family, friends, and the relationship between her and the two men. It was all so much for her to take in when she first ended up back in time. But as she spent time with Romeo and Carlo, she started to have feelings for them, and the way that they were so fond of her, they must have liked her back then, and still do now.

"It's a surprise, we're almost there so it won't be long." Romeo replied with a smile on his face as Carlo went off the trail and towards some of the trees of the forest, Romeo following right behind him.

"Hey, wait!" The woman called out to them as she ran in the direction that they went, but she lost sight of them, causing her to groan in annoyance. "Romeo? Carlo?" She looked around, but she couldn't see where they gone. Just as she was about to turn back, she heard footsteps run up behind her and arms snaked around her waist and behind her knees, lifting her up bridal style. Yelping a bit, Imogen looked up to see Carlo with a mischievous grin.

"Gotcha." He chuckled as he saw Imogen's face turn red as she got flustered.

"You jerk, put me down." She grumbled, but Carlo shook his head.

"No can do Immy." Was all he said as he continued the walk while holding her in his arms. Eventually, they emerged from the trees and into a clearing. Imogen's eyes widened as she saw a lake in the middle of the clearing, with Romeo waiting for them under a single tree that's next to the lake. The sight infront of her did stir something in her memories.

It was during the summer when the weather was just right, a little girl was reading a book right under the tree, the many leaves of the giant tree shielded her from the sun as she relaxed. Her then brown hair was pulled back into a small braid and she was wearing a white shirt with a long light grey blue skirt. As she turned the page, she heard footsteps running around nearby. Looking up, she saw two boys run into the clearing.

"Woah, this place is incredible!" One of the boys said. This boy had short brown hair and wore a Monad Charity uniform. The other boy had the same uniform on, but the other boy had blonde hair that reached his shoulders. Imogen hid behind the tree and watched as the two walked over to the pond. As she watched, she realized that she has seen these boys before. A week ago when students at the Monad Charity House returned for school as well as new students arriving, these two were some of the newest students. She watched as Sophia introduced the brown haired boy to the blonde haired boy, and she also tried to introduce her to them, wanting her to make friends, but she was too shy and ended up running back to her room.

"Hello!" The voice of the blonde boy spoke, causing Imogen to jump as she was lost in thought. The two boys now were walking towards her, which made her panic and hide behind the tree. "Sorry, we didn't mean to scare you. You're Sophia's little sister right? She tried introducing us to you when we first arrived." The blonde boy said as she heard the footsteps stop on the other side of the tree. "It's okay. We don't bite. Well, I don't."

"Hey!" The brown haired boy exclaimed, annoyed by what the blonde boy said. Imogen couldn't help but laugh a little. Feeling a little bit comfortable, she stepped out from behind the tree and saw the brown haired boy glaring at the blond boy, who stuck his tongue out at him. When they noticed her, the two couldn't help but stare a little, a little bit of blush on their cheeks.

"It's nice to meet you, I'm Imogen." The girl said softly, holding her book close.

"Hi, uh, anyway, I'm Carlo." The brown haired boy introduced himself, looking away a little as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"And I'm Romeo, but you can call me Lampwick!" The blonde boy exclaimed with a smile and held his arms up, causing Imogen to giggle a little.

"Immy? Imogen?" Snapping out of her thoughts, Imogen looked up to see Carlo giving her a concerned look. "Are you alright?" He asked as he set her down.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She replied as she looked back at the lake. "Just remembered something. This lake, it's special for you two, isn't it?" She asked as Romeo made his way towards the two, concern on his face. Probably saw Carlo worrying over her when she was lost in thought.

"Yeah it is, and for you as well." He as he set Imogen down and grabbed her hand, intertwining her fingers with his "We were hoping that if you saw it, you would remember something."

Looking back towards the pond, Imogen gave a small smile. "Yeah, I remember a bit. I was shy back then."

Carlo let out a chuckle as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "Yeah, your sister tried introducing you to us but you were so shy." He teased, earning an elbow to his side from the woman. "I'm just messing with you, but still, you were more to yourself back then, that is true. Eventually we grew on you and you became more comfortable being with us." He explained as Romeo gently held her hands in his.

"And eventually we all developed feelings for each other. Me and Romeo already confessed to eachother, but you went missing before we were able to tell you how we felt about you. But your back, we know you don't remember everything, and you don't have to answer right now, but just know that we love you. And we will always be there for you." He said as the two looked at her lovingly.

Imogen could feel her face burning up as her face became red. She didn't expect a full-on love confession during this, but she also couldn't help but feel happy. "I love you both as well." She whispered with a smile. While it was soft, it was still loud enough for the two men to hear it and become excited and kiss Imogen on each cheek. They thought they lost her forever, but when she stumbled back into their lives, they were so happy. And they weren't going to lose her again.
