Chocolates. Roses. Cute stuffed bears. A nice dinner. Walking around the park even though it was just a little bit to cold for that, but you did it anyway because it's the perfect excuse to hold his hand. You've never had anyone to celebrate Valentine's Day with before, so you don't have anything else to compare it to, but by the time the two of you make it back to his apartment, you've all but decided that this is your new favorite holiday.
You have to tell him how you feel. Maybe you're moving too fast. Maybe he won't be ready to say it back. But you just can't keep it to yourself anymore.
"Hey, Jean?" You ask as you shuck off your jacket, hanging it on the hook by the door. The hook I bought, you think with a smile. You don't think you'll ever get tired of seeing little bits of yourself in his apartment. "Do you think we could talk for a minute? I mean, I guess we've been talking all night, it's just... There's something I want to tell you."
