Assets (Taya Valkyrie x Reader)
“So, I did the math and your contract is almost up,” Taya said as she sat down next to you. She was right, your WWE contract was almost up, but they were negotiating keeping you around. You were one of their best wrestlers, always helped train the new talent, and you even had written out a couple of storylines with creative. Vince might not have necessarily cared whether or not you stayed, but Stephanie recognized that you were an essential part of the company.
“Yeah, but Stephanie is working on my new contract,” you said and Taya turned and faced you. You looked over at her and smiled at her. She was pouting at you, and you knew the conversation that was about to happen.
“Okay, that’s cool, but think about not signing with them again. Impact has good talent and is always looking to expand. We could be tag partners or even have a little feud,” Taya suggested. That did sound really nice, but then again, anything would have sounded nice to you with the way that she was touching you. You pursed your lips and shook your head. WWE had been fairly good to you, much better than they had been to other wrestlers who had switched companies for a time.
“I’ve got a good thing at WWE,” you said and Taya swung her leg over your lap. She slid onto your lap and rested her arms over your shoulders. You leaned your head against the back of the couch and she kissed the corner of your mouth. “Impact would be fun to go back to, but I don’t think it’s in my cards right now.”
“Think about all the fun we could have together wrestling. It’ll be like the indies baby, you remember how the indies were together right?” Taya asked and you smiled fondly at the memories. “How we’d go at it after matches in the hotel room. The rush of getting to just dominate in matches. The relief in being completely open about our relationship.”
“It was nice, yes,” you agreed and Taya knew that she almost had you. She ran her hand along your jaw and leaned down to kiss you. You sighed and she smiled as you said, “I’ll call Stephanie.”
