Collective Meaning Making

What comes out of a conversation can be strengthened by using harvesting as way of working. Replacing the word "taking notes" (long ago) for the word "harvesting". The actual meaning of the word harvesting is choosen as the metaphor of nature, the living system we are part of. 

What it is and what you can take out:

Any form of harvesting can be expressed (depending on the facilitator, context, purpose from drawing, writing, singing....) 

It leads to create clarity on what was at the heart of the conversation 

Expression from different perspectives

When clarity and commitment come together: Action emerge

Invisible harvest is sometimes even more powerful than the artefact created (relationship, trust and safety in a room between people present)

Preparing a meeting you can start with the questions: 

What are we getting out of it? What is the meaning making that takes place and what are the artefacts that will represent the work done?
