Dean having a close bond with his car who’s his “baby” even talking softly to it visibly showing off his love by caring for it and not getting embarrassed by it. This is the same guy who’s afraid of chick flick moments. Who finds it hard to be vulnerable even for Sam who he feels he has to protect.
How telling the only other person he lets drive it is Sam. Sam even turns into the impala by an Angel who repeatedly points out the Winchester’s obsessive relationship.
And the emotional more vulnerable scenes between them happening in the impala or right by it. In a way it’s a symbol of their bond and their home on the road. I think it’s really cute how they repair it together or Sam watches on while Dean is healing his precious belonging.
