When I say Wincest I mean exclusively Sam and Dean none of that other fuckery.

Dean having a close bond with his car who’s his “baby” even talking softly to it visibly showing off his love by caring for it and not getting embarrassed by it. This is the same guy who’s afraid of chick flick moments. Who finds it hard to be vulnerable even for Sam who he feels he has to protect.

How telling the only other person he lets drive it is Sam. Sam even turns into the impala by an Angel who repeatedly points out the Winchester’s obsessive relationship.

And the emotional more vulnerable scenes between them happening in the impala or right by it. In a way it’s a symbol of their bond and their home on the road. I think it’s really cute how they repair it together or Sam watches on while Dean is healing his precious belonging.

Do you ever think about how Sam—the most empathetic man— must feel about his tough, ‘I’m a man’s man brother? Yes he respects him, admires him for it even but it’s frustrating being doted on so much but you can’t say the words you want to, to avoid ‘chick flick’ moments or touch unless there’s a dire situation. Think about it, as the younger brother he’s used to Dean taking care of him but the moments when Dean isn’t—or maybe it’s more apt to say that he can’t. Because Dean will keep going until he’s physically or mentally unable to. In those moments you see Sam find his place.

Sam takes advantage of vulnerable Dean, indulging in touches and looks filled with so much love and care. His very gaze worshipping his big brother, wanting to capture the stubborn protective man in his orbit. And the best part, Dean lets him. He can finally let go and let his brother fuss over him. Makes you realize all those life and death situations they find themselves in reveal their true desires, both clinging to each other like a lifeline.

“I already checked. There’s a big sorority party happening tonight, new pledges. I’m thinking whoever it is will strike tonight.”

i’ll never understand the necessity to make dean bottom to show his “vulnerability”. this concept leaves a bad taste in my mouth for many reasons, but also it’s so awfully overused as a trope

dean can violently domtop the life out of sam and still be vulnerable. actually, it hits even harder that way. and it’s definitely way more in character, too

“Is this Wincest?” If regular clips and photos from the show make you think that…that says a lot about supernatural. Every decision the actors make in regard to tone and action is purposeful. Even people who don’t “ship” Wincest are well aware of that. Wincest exists because they intended it to exist.

People wonder why Wincest shippers exist while the show continues to have Sam and Dean choose each other over every single person. I wanted to ship them with other people but they literally screw it up themselves.

1. The way Dean shuts down when Sam says he can’t wait for “this” (them hunting together) is over.

2. Dean trying to express that he enjoys not just hunting but spending time with Sam. He likes this life if it’s with Sam.

3. Sam realizing he means more to Dean than the mission.

4. Dean’s face when Sam says he has to let him go his own way….Sam knew he wouldn’t like it.

My favorite part about Wincest is how deeply it’s woven into the show. The very fabric of the story is held together by their bond. Every watcher is taken through the ups and downs of Sam and Dean’s relationship. We’re shown how dangerously codependent they are. Jealous of any relationship they have with other people. Actually being affronted that anyone suggest they break up. How desperately we hope they resolve every earthly, heavenly and demonic crisis. And know ultimately they would choose each other to settle down and be happy with. However much they hate it they also love Wincest.
