Sabaton is weird because on one hand they make pretty damn great music, but on the other hand sometimes they manage to sing the wrong side of the story...
most are great, The Last Stand of the Swiss Guard at the Sack of Rome, the fall of the samurai at Shiroyama, The Last Battle of WW2 when american and german soldiers fought together against nazis (Battle for Castle Itter, yes, 'twas weird)
and then there's Rorke's Drift praising the invading imperialist/colonialist british forces fighting against the defending Zulu...
a lot of wars and battles in history had no good sides, often all sides were very much wrong and/or evil, waging wars where everyone just suffered
but sometimes there really was good fighting against evil, at least to some extent. not saying the Zulu must have been particularly morally good or holy... but colonialism is bad. imperialism is bad. and sometimes we need to say that out loud because if we don't and we say that both sides were right or wrong, we don't learn shit from history and eventually we get new colonialism, new imperialism, and new nazis
"impartial history teaching" is a very dangerous thing
