Sept 15, 2019. Hiking up to the observation deck at Shiroyama park. 

Not pictured here are: 

1) The “Seventeen ice” icecream vending machines I became obsessed with at the top of the observation deck. Specifically for the Muscat flavoured sherbet. I would have bought a fourth that day had Tyler not convinced me I had eaten too many... we couldn’t find these vending machines again after leaving Kagoshima so I was full of regret :( 

2) All the mosquito bites - they itched for weeks.
